Residing in Somers Beach on the Mornington Peninsula with his young family. As an apprentice and carpenter Peter has worked with local builders on architect designed high end properties. Peter’s original trade as a Marine Mechanic brought him to the Mornington Peninsula. His focus then shifted to pursuing a career as a builder. After working with local builders constructing new homes and extensions for six years Peter brought his own vision, Coastal Builders, to life, in 2011.
A qualified carpenter and registered Builder, Anthony has industry experience spanning 20 years. He has a great eye for detail and finishing. Anthony manages and supervises projects and has developed strong relationships with trades and clients.
Barty is a Mornington Peninsula local who has been working as a carpenter for many years. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Barty plays an integral role in the management of projects and training apprentices.
Another Mornington Peninsula local, Ash is a fully qualified Carpenter. His strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and positive attitude make him a great fit for the Coastal Builders team. A fast learner with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, Ash takes pride in delivering precise and high-quality work on every project.
Joining the team in 2021 and completing his Apprenticeship in 2023, Muhammad is a fully qualified Carpenter. His friendly nature, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn make him a key member of the Coastal Builders team. Muhammad’s dedication to delivering high-quality work and his commitment to every project he takes on set him apart as a valuable asset to the team.
Nathan has recently become a valuable addition to the Coastal Builders team as a first-year carpentry apprentice, showcasing a strong eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
Joining Coastal Builders in 2024 as part of her VCAL work experience, Isabella has now stepped into her role as a first-year Apprentice. In 2025 she is completing her final year of high school, but she brings a great level of maturity and gets along effortlessly with the team. Her strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly make her a fantastic person to work with.

Planning is the foundation to every successful project and having quality plans and drawings completed is a necessity. However, we do work regularly with several designers and can recommend the right one for your project. In conjunction with you, the client, they will work with you to design your individually styled home or project. Coastal Builders also offers tailored in-house practical design solutions.
